Assistance and resources

As a marketing coach, my job is to show you help to use planning, writing, and design, writing for more effective and more efficient small business marketing.

I've been helping others for over 20 years. You can read about some of my clients here, and what clients have had to say here.

It's never been easier to promote your expertise than it is today.

Paradoxically, it's also never been harder to promote your expertise than it is today. The multiplication of competition and technologies - the sheer glut of available information - makes it harder for you to make the informed choices you need to differentiate yourself from your competition and become the recognized - and trusted - expert in your field.

"Experts" are not the answer

As marketing and communications technology has become more complex, subject area experts have proliferated. The depth of their knowledge in specific areas, however, is often their Achilles heel.

Subject-area experts may be so "tuned into" their specialty that they lack the broad perspective necessary to create a balanced, comprehensive marketing program.

As a "writer who understands design," and a "designer who understands copy," Roger C. Parker can help you create a marketing program based on these skills. Roger has a 20 year record of helping others successfully master and apply the latest technology to marketing challenges.

"Implementers" may not be the answer, either

There are tens of thousands of sources of advertising, graphic design, and online marketing assistance.

The problem is that "implementation" may help you achieve a specific short-term goal, but it doesn't empower you to move forward on your own.

As author, copywriter, and designer, Roger C. Parker's career has been based on helping others build the platforms they need, and master the tools they need, to move forward on their own.

Hints for choosing a marketing coach

  • Look for "dual citizenship," someone equally at home addressing design and marketing issues.
  • Look for a coach with a broad perspective, one who will help you make the right choices of tools and techniques from the many alternative available today.
  • Options. Choose a coach who offers a variety of coaching options, including individual, small group, and large group training.

Work side by side with Roger C. Parker

Roger C. Parker can be as close as your computer monitor. Using the latest webinar technology on a one-to-one basis, we can view each other's computer screens and work together as we move forward on projects.

Projects move faster when you have someone to work with:

  • Designing a newsletter
  • Writing an article
  • Creating a marketing plan
  • Scheduling topics for blog posts

Finally, look for a coach with a proven track record of clients.
