Getting Started

Congratulations on your decision to join Published & Profitable.

If you're just getting started in writing and publishing, this section is for you. It's a brief introduction to the lessons I've learned and the resources I've compiled to help you become profitably published.

Here are the first 3 steps I recommend you take:

  1. Create a Published & Profitable binder. This will give you a place to store everything associated with this website.
  2. Next, download my Published & Profitable e-book and my Proposal Writing Handbook. Print and save them in your binder. They provide an overview of the publishing process that you can refer to off-line.
  3. Register for the next Published & Profitable member webinars or online event. These provide you an opportunity to learn and ask questions in a group environment. After each event, share your comments with others in the Member Forum

Begin your explorations

After you've downloaded the above and familiarized yourself with the audios and videos available here, I recommend you read the brief articles explaining each step in greater detail:

As your explore, take notes. If questions occur to you, post them to the discussion forum.

Be sure to check out the books analyzed in the Case Studies section, too.

Soon, you, too, will be Published & Profitable!
